Facility protection — securing licensed premises and sites subject to mandatory protection
Facilities where weapons, ammunition and explosives are manufactured or stored — along with sites listed in the regional registers of areas subject to mandatory protection — must meet stringent requirements. REACTUS designs and documents protection systems that satisfy both the regulations and the expectations of the authorities that approve them.
How we support you
- /001preparing and updating facility protection plans, including approval by the competent Chief of Police,
- /002preparing facility classification cards and the protection documentation required in licensing proceedings,
- /003drafting instructions for protecting the site and its buildings, along with emergency response plans,
- /004selecting technical safeguards (alarm systems, access control, CCTV) to the resistance class required by law,
- /005organising cooperation with licensed armed security formations and in-house security teams,
- /006auditing the state of protection at existing facilities.
Protection and licensing go hand in hand
Protection requirements are one of the most common reasons for requests to supplement a licence application. Preparing the protection documentation alongside the application eliminates that risk — which is why at REACTUS we run both workstreams as a single project.
